It's National Pizza Month!
I love the fact every time I come to NYC, they're pizza joints all over, so you're bound to find a great place to enjoy pizza. I finally found my favorite pizza spot and I hope that you stop by Stanton Pizza when you're in the city.
When you first walk in, classic hip hop music is playing in the background and bustling with people from all walks of life. The space is very small, but the pizza has a big personality. Not much seating, but there is narrow bar seating and a couple of tables.
They have a variety of pizza pies to choose from, so you might it find it a little challenging to select only one. I has taste for a simple cheese pizza and this place made it just right. The cheese was gooey, the crust was crunchy, and the pizza sauce was packed with flavor. The price was soooo cheap. This pizza is worth more then a couple of bucks!
This place got it right and I will be back to try their other selections. -

Dollar slices of cheese pizza until 6pm!
Garlic rolls so garlicky, you'll repel everyone! Loaded with garlic that is still kinda raw, my dining companion described it "burning on the way down". Gross, but pretty gosh darn satisfying.
It's got a Latin flair with some empanadas as well as the music blaring from the kitchen. A bit different from lots of places to grab quick slices, but still very much worth it. This is inexpensive AF, tasty, and great on the go. -

This is one of my top 5 pizza spots in NY. I have been coming here for a while since I have found the goodness. Upon arrival you're greeted by a friendly face, if you come often enough. There was a good variety of pizza to choose from. I wanted something simple and opted for a whole cheese pie. Ordering a fresh pie takes about 10 minutes.. The price...$8.00!! You cant beat that! The slices were huge and very flavorful. The sauce and the crust is everything. Great eats at all time of the day. Once you taste what I mean, you may travel miles for a slice, like I do

This place was so good. Great prices. Nothing too fancy. But delicious carry out slices of pizza. I recommend the buffalo chicken ranch pizza. Also gotta get some garlic knots for just $1. They often have specials where you can get two any topping slices for $5 with a can of soda. Slices are huge and filling too. Served nice and hot out of the oven.
